明けましておめでとうございます。(Akemashite Omedetougozaimasu/Happy New Year)

How did you start the new year? Did you see Hatsu Hinode (初日の出/ the first sunrise)? Did you see fireworks? Did you party? Wherever you were and whatever you did, hope you are feeling good about the beginning of 2014.

It´s a year of horse in 2014, Uma-doshi (午年) and is said that it´s going to be a powerful yet relaxed year. I wish you all the best and great new adventures. Iromegane will keep trying to improve our site and showing you more good bits of Japan in 2014. Let´s have a big leap like a horse!
