Tokyo Sanpo Michi by Natsuko Nakabayashi

At the entrance of Saiwai Inari Jinja (幸稲荷神社), there is always a little nice phrase and the phrase of this month is this.

This is a phrase of Norinaga Motoori (本居宣長), a Japanese classical scholar in Edo period.

Yononaka no / Yoki mo Ashiki mo

Kotogoto ni / Kami no kokoro no

Siwaza nizo aru

Good things and bad things in the life

and the all the things are depending on

the God´s caprice
